Beryl M. Medbery, 99, of Old Mystic passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. She was born April 26, 1914, in Old Mystic, the daughter of the late Alfred and Thomasine (Boothman) Marchand.
She graduated from Stonington High School, Class of 1932. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Medbery on June 4, 1935. Mr. Medbery died April 14, 1983.
Mrs. Medbery was a member of the Old Mystic Methodist Church and its Golden Rule Class.
She is survived by a son, Robert "Skip" Medbery.
Family and friends are asked to gather for a Graveside Service on Thursday at 1pm in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. Donations in her memory may be made to the Old Mystic Methodist Church or the to Visiting Nurses Association.
