Marguerite L. (Quinlan) Connors, 90, of Salem, NH died Sat., Sept. 14th surrounded by her loving family at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.
Marguerite was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Emma (Viewig) and Martin Quinlan. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and spent time working in the Textile Mills before dedicating herself as an employee of the Lawrence School System for 15 years, retiring when she was 80 years old. A loving mother, wife, and grandmother, Marguerite's life was dedicated to her family. Her door was always open, her home filled with friends, family, and laughter. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Connors and her siblings, Marion Deyermond and Frank and John Quinlan.
She is survived by her daughters, M. Linda Foss and her husband Geoffrey of Salem, NH and Karen Foley and her husband Daniel of Newburyport, MA;
Her brothers, William Quinlan of Lawrence, MA,
Robert Quinlan of Methuen, MA and
Daniel Quinlan of No. Andover, MA;
Her 5 grandchildren, Kevin Foss, Lauren Adrien, Geoffrey Foss, Kerri Richard and Kaitlyn Foley, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Sept. 17th from 4-7PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church in Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
