Louis “Geno” Marfoli passed away on September 13, 2013. He was 82 years old.
Geno was a longtime resident of Malden. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. Geno was an avid golfer and loved golfing up at the White Mountains in New Hampshire. He was a former member of the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover and a member of the Salmonian Club in Boston’s North End.
Geno was the devoted husband of 56 years to Jean (LaMattina) Marfoli. He was the beloved father of Louis Marfoli Jr. and his wife Donna and Maureen Manzi and her husband Richard all of Malden. Geno was the brother of the late Vincent Marfoli and Lena Carbone. He was the brother-in-law of Phyllis Pasquale and her late husband Anthony and Helen Marfoli. Geno was the cherished grandfather of Alicia and Andrew Marfoli and Michelle and Amy Manzi. He is also survived by a niece and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, September 18th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 17th from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
