Delores Jean McCafferty

Delores Jean(Starrett) McCafferty 80, long time Anderson resident, died September 13, 2013 at River Walk Village in Noblesville after and extended illness.
She was born June 7, 1933 in Anderson, the daughter of Raymond and Ada (Winemiller) Starrett. She was employed for over 20 years with Collins Travel Service, and prior to that was employed for a brief time with General Motors. She attended Anderson High School, was affiliated with Madison Park Church of God, and member of Guide Lamp Travel Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Erin (husband Darrell) Smith of Anderson, Kathleen (husband Jim) Barrett of Noblesville, and Stephanie Saxon of Noblesville. 7 Grandchildren: Joshua, Ashleigh, Matthew, Bryant, Kaitlyn, Blaine and Rylee, a long time special friend, Paul Baroni, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry McCafferty in 1971, and her sister Darlene Reed in 2006.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10 AM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Jim Rogers. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Susan Komen Foundation, or the Alzheimers Association.
