Ann M. (Richards) Heanue, of Plymouth, died at her home on September 12th at the age of 84. The beloved wife of the late Robert J. Heanue, she is survived by her sons Robert V. Heanue of VT; Thomas Heanue of PA and William Heanue of VT and her daughters Margaret Bald of FL; Mary Lou Johnson of WA; Ann MacCune of Braintree, Patty Heanue of S. Boston and Jean Crowley of Milton. She also leaves 10 cherished grandchildren.
Ann was born in Boston, daughter of the late James and Anna (Sullivan) Richards. She graduated from Boston schools . Ann was the proud owner of Ann's Playschool, a successful daycare business. Ann dedicated her life to children and truly believed children are our future.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 15th from 2 to 6 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 16th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Manomet Youth Center, c/o Plymouth Recreation Dept., 11 Lincoln St, Plymouth, MA 02360.
