Anita Theresa Soprano,
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anita Theresa Soprano, 88, of Ventura, passed away at her home Wednesday September 11, 2013.
Mrs. Soprano was born June 10, 1925 in Biddeford, Maine and was a Ventura County resident for the past 52 years coming from Arcadia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards. In her younger years she was an avid bowler, an avid reader reading up to 3 books a week. But her greatest joy came from moments shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Anita will be greatly missed by her extensive family which includes her son, Len Soprano of Santa Paula; her daughters, Gail Ogle of Tustin and Karen Craffey (William) of Oak View.
Grandchildren include Steven Soprano (Liz), Michael Soprano, Rebecca Engel (Paul) all of Ventura; Marilyn Mason (Mike) of Sequim, WA; Jeffrey Soprano and Suzanne Soprano of Santa Paula; Elizabeth Harrison (Robbie) of Fillmore; Scott Ellis (Alicia) of Plainfield, Indiana; Ryan Ellis of Belmont Shores; Thomas Craffey (Carissa) of Oldtown, Idaho and Matthew Craffey of Los Angeles.
Great-grandchildren include Jessica, Stephanie and Richard Soprano of Ventura; Weston, Allison, Jenna, James, Samuel and Sophia Mason of Sequim, WA; Sierra and Sedona Engel of Ventura; Will, Ben and Valerie Harrison of Fillmore; Erik Ellis of Plainfield, Indiana and Judith Craffey of Oldtown, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years Gene C. Soprano, daughter-in-law Roberta Soprano, son-in-law Merle Ogle, grandsons Andrew and Jonathan Soprano and granddaughter ValerieSoprano.

For Gene and Anita's 60th Wedding Anniversary the family had a wonderful vacation on Catalina Island leaving memories she often talked about.
A rosary will be recited Monday morning September 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home 757 E. Main Street Ventura followed by services in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Pierce Brother's Santa Paula Cemetery.
