Manuel M. Pereira, age 70 of Fall River passed away September 11, 2013. Born in São Miguel, Açores, he was the husband of Lubelia (Braga) Pereira and son of the late Manuel Pereira and Maria Rego. Manuel had worked as a custodian at Foxboro Co., enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church.
He was the father of Marco and Stephen Pereira (wife Sandy) both of Fall River, and Antonio Pereira (wife Kimberly) of Somerset, grandfather of Tori, Cody, Makayla and Lily Pereira, brother of Orminda Botelho, and uncle to several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours FRIDAY 4-8 P.M.
