Maria Pinto Rioux, 88, of Plymouth, passed away at home on September 11. Wife of the late George Joseph Rioux. Loving mother of Claudia Robbins of Plymouth. Maria had eight brothers and sisters. She leaves behind two sisters, Cecelia Dolan of Naples, FL and Violet Berry of Kingston and 15 surviving nieces and nephews.
Maria was born in Plymouth, the daughter of Antonio Ferria and Maria Gomes DeSilva Pinto. Maria graduated from Plymouth High School in the Class of 1943.
Maria loved quilting, the beach, gardening, reading, animals, antiquing and her family.
A funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Parish on Saturday September 21, at 9:00 AM. A visiting hour will be held before the mass at 8:00 AM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. (Rte 3A) N. Plymouth. Immediately following the Mass, burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery Kingston, MA
