George C. Mahla

George C. Mahla, 77, of Anderson died September 10, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Anderson, June 28, 1936 to George C. and Ethel A. (Reuse) Mahla.
He served in the US Marines.
He was self employed.
Survivors include his brother, Ray (wife, Karla) Mahla of Anderson; daughter, Jennifer Mahla of Indianapolis; special nurse and friend, Linda Parker; special caregiver, Rick Pring; several nieces, nephews and special friends including, Lester (wife, Toni) Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois Schaefer.
Graveside service will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at East Maplewood Cemetery with Ned Clark officiating. VFW Post 266 Honor Guard will provide military rites.
