Robert S. “Robb” DiRusso, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly Monday September 6, 2004 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital. He was 40 years old. He was the beloved son of Irene DiRusso- Weinburg of Plymouth,MA and Cosmo C. DiRusso of Tewksbury,MA.
He was born August 19, 1964 in Arlington,MA.
He was a graduate of Brockton high School.
He had a passion for writing and became a columnist for Soaptown U.S.A. where he would produce weekly soap-opera columns on the internet.
His survivors include his brothers: Kevin C. DiRusso of New Jersey, Paul C. DiRusso of Plymouth and Christopher W. DiRusso of Carver. Also one niece, two nephews, one great-niece, one great-nephew, one godson, aunts,uncles, many cousins, two step-brothers and four step-sisters. He also had a late step-father.
His funeral service will be held on Monday September 13, 2004 at 10 AM from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street (of Rt. 138 at the First Federal Savings Bank), Stoughton. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Visiting hours are on Sunday September 12, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham,MA 01701-4688, in Robbs memory would be appreciated.
