Louise A. Putnam, age 85, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Putnam was born on January 17, 1928, in Douglas, GA to the late Clayton Adams and Mollie Tanner Adams.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sherry Davis of Douglas, GA, son, Henry Donnie (Joann) Adams of Douglas, GA, two sisters, Gladys Hussey of Jacksonville, FL and Ophelia (Joe) O’Steen of Douglas, GA, three grandchildren, April (Cliff) Mobley of Broxton, GA, Andrea J. (Randy) Cudd of Dublin, GA, and Henry Donnie Adams, Jr. of Douglas, GA, two great grandchildren, Austin Cudd of Dublin, GA and Dalton Adams of Douglas, GA, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Eugene Putnam.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Carver officiating. Interment followed at Refuge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
