In Raynham, August 31, 2013 Edward R. Britton, Age 56, passed away in his home unexpectedly. Edward was born in Taunton, the son of the late Edward R. & Eleanor (Bolton) Britton Sr. Edward had resided in Raynham all his life. Edward was a graduate of Bristol Plymouth High School. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Edward was employed at Emerson & Cuming in Canton. Ed enjoyed going to car races, working on small engines, car repair and loved animals. Edward is survived by his siblings Barbara Sturr of Kingston, PA and Charlie Britton of Oregon. He also leaves several close friends. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham on Saturday, September 14th at 11 am. to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
