Marie-Vivian G. (Bergeron) Ping, 76, of Tiverton passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Sakonnet Bay Manor in Tiverton. She was the wife of the late Herman R. Ping.
Daughter of the late Roland G. and Blanche (Gagnon) Bergeron, she was born in New Bedford. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a housekeeper for the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Mrs. Ping enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son: Barry R. Ping and his wife Karen of Acushnet; her 2 daughters: Darlene A. Fernandes and her husband Rick of Westport and Laureen M. Dolbec and her husband Wil of Westport; 2 grandsons: Richard and his companion Rachael and Jeffrey and his wife Lorie-Lyn; cousins: Rochelle and Ronald Cox; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport, at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be from 9-10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
