Beatrice “BeBee” Campo, a resident of Woburn for the last twenty-four years, passed away at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Campo who died thirteen years ago.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, seventy-two years ago, she was the daughter of the late Mary (DiBiase) and Alexander Petricone. She was raised and educated in Somerville. She and her husband Peter made their home in Somerville before taking up residence in Woburn.
Beatrice was a real estate broker in Woburn for a number of years working for Prudential Prefered. She enjoyed being a part of the Woburn community by being a active member and former president of the South End Italian Club. She was very dedicated to her family, their well being was of the utmost importance.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband Peter , was her sister, Mary Palazzolo.
Surviving are her children James Campo and his wife Brenda of Woburn, Annmarie Veits and her husband Mark of Tewksbury. Two loving granddaughters Deryn and Riley Veits. A sister Vivian DeSimone of Florida, and her brother Alex Rocco of California.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Saturday, September 11, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Washington St. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home are on Friday, September 10, from 4 thru 8.
