"Bill", Age 87 Longtime Resident of NSP Preceded in death by brother Albert, sister Agnes and granddaughter Hope Marie. Survived by his wife, the love of his life for 67 years, Mabel; children Mary (Kenneth) French, Bill (Jessica), Ed (Sherry), Dan (Stacy); 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandson. Bill was a WWII Navy Vet, past Commander of American Legion Post #39, 4th District Sergeant at Arms and Vice Commander, was a very active member of the American Legion for 60+ years and a member of 40/8. He coached NSP Little League baseball, football and hockey and was an active member of the NSP community. He was the most wonderful, giving, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great and great great grandfather, friend and mentor to all who knew him. Special thanks to Keriann for all the loving care she has given over the years. Funeral Service Thur 9/5 at 1 pm at ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2499 N. Helen St. NSP. Visitation 2 hours prior at church. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi.
