Patricia Ann “Patsy” Hardeman, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Phoebe Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hardeman was born November 2, 1944, in Douglas, Georgia, to the late Quincey Dewitt and Ruzell Wise Phillips. She lived in the community most of her life. She was a homemaker and loved babysitting and being around children. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: William Lonnie Hardeman; one son: Art & Trish Hardeman; a granddaughter: Randi & Jake Gibbs; a grandson: Chris Beard and a great-granddaughter: Roxie Gibbs, all of Fitzgerald; two sisters: Glenda Hulett and Mokana & Bobby Clements, all of Ocilla and a brother-in-law: Lee Roy Hardeman. A number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Dewitt Phillips.
