Patricia Gail Leslie Cone, 65, of Omega died Monday, September 2, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Robert Tucker and Elder Roger Summerlin will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Jackie Crumley, Jimmy Crumley, Charles Sumner, Wade Crumley, Ric Stepp and Michael Weldon will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Jacob Puckett. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Cone was born on September 9, 1947 in Tift County and was the daughter of Andrew Leslie and Alpha M. Scarboro Leslie, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Myron Cone, who died in 2011; and one brother. She was retired from Walmart, where she was a greeter and was a member of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church in Adel.
Mrs. Cone is survived by one son, Robert Joe Cone of Fitzgerald; one daughter, Myra Ray of Sylvester; two sisters, Gene Holton of Norman Park and Betty Rankin of Oklahoma; and one granddaughter.
