Jeanne M. (Whitehouse) Sweinimer, a 18 year resident of Everett and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at The Golden Living Center in Melrose after a lengthy illness. She was 62 years old.
Jeanne was born in Stoneham on November 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Roger Whitehouse and Gloria (Morris) Whitehouse. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1968. Jeanne worked for many years as a receptionist/sale representative for the Charlestown Patriot Newspaper.
Jeanne is the beloved wife of 16 years to Allen H. Sweinimer. She is the loving mother to Brian Davis. She is the devoted sister of Diana Melaugh, Kathy Whitehouse and the late William Whitehouse, Marilyn McMaster, Kevin Whitehouse and Patricia Burke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jeanne's visiting hours on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 2 to 6 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 5:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will take place on Monday, September 9, 2013 in the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 P.M.
