Pitaro, of Brockton, March 12, 2002, Lunda M. Pitaro. Daughter of the late Nicola and Maria Carmela (Fera) Pitaro. Sister of Theresa Pitaro of Brockton and Mary Pizzorno of California. She was the sister of the late Carrie Sebelia and Joseph Pitaro of California, Elizabeth Froio of Hull, Mario Pitaro of Nevada, and the Right Reverend Monsignor Mimie B. Pitaro of Brockton. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Catholic Television, Box 9109, Newtonville, MA 02460-9109.

Lunda Pitaro died on March 12, 2002, surrounded by her sisters, Theresa Pitaro and Mary Pizzorno and her nieces. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Maria Carmela (Fera) Pitaro. She was a lifelong resident, attending Brockton Public schools, and graduated from Brockton High School, Class of 1929. She had been employed by Taylor Shoe Factory and the Luco Leather Company. She enjoyed traveling with her brother Monsignor Mimie B. Pitaro, cooking and corresponding with her many friends. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church for 30 years and had been a communicant of St. Edward Church for many years.
She is survived by her two sisters, Theresa Pitaro of Brockton and Mary Pizzorno of California. Many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews
