Jeanette A. (Syrios) Ciampi died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday evening. She was 89.
Jeanette was born and raised in Quincy, the daughter of the late James and Theodora Syrios. Jeanette worked in sales in her younger years but was most concerned with the care of her family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was a member of the Plan E Civic Association and was active in civic and neighborhood causes.
The beloved wife of the late James A. Ciampi who died in 1988, she was a devoted mother of Vincent Ciampi of Everett, David Ciampi and his wife Maryann of Medford and Sharon Bourque of Medford. The loving grandmother of Kristan, Diane, Heather, James, Domenic, Annemarie and the late Anthony, she also leaves her dear great-grandchildren: Jakob, Tessa, Rylee and Morgan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, Thursday, September 5th from 9 – 10 30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
