Obituary

Worcester – Beverley A. (Graton) Gosselin, 80, of Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, August 30th in Notre Dame du Lac after an illness.

Beverley is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alfred P. Gosselin; a daughter, Denise J. Healey and her husband James of Worcester; two sons, Paul A. Gosselin and his partner Michael Terry of Cambridge, MA and David F. Gosselin and his wife Angela Henson of Lexington, KY; a sister, Carol Cantwell and her husband Rod of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nephews and nieces. Beverley was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Burton F. and Ida (Dion) Graton and is also predeceased by a daughter Jeannine Brady and an infant son John Gosselin.

Mrs. Gosselin is a graduate of Holy Name High School and earned an Associates Degree in Nursing from Quinsigamond Community College. She worked for 25 years as a Registered Nurse at the former Hahneman Hospital retiring as a Head Nurse in 1993.

Beverley was a member of Saint John’s Church and enjoyed traveling with her husband; together they visited the 50 states and all 7 continents. She was an avid reader of mystery novels and enjoyed the companionship of many pets.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 4th at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Notre Dame du Lac 555 Plantation Street. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd from 6 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint John’s Food for the Poor 44 Temple Street Worcester, MA 01604 or to Notre Dame Du Lac 555 Plantation Street Worcester, MA 01605.
