Worcester – Yvette R. (Gallant) Gauvin, 73, of Worcester, died on Friday, August 30th in Saint Vincent Hospital.
Yvette was married to Emery “Frenchy” Gauvin who died in 1998. She is survived by a son, Richard Gauvin and his wife Nancy of Worcester; a daughter Denise Merchant of Worcester; 3 brothers, Paull Gallant, Norman Gallant and Bernard Gallant all of Moncton, NB, Canada; 2 sisters, Freda Eldridge of Worcester and Carmella Bulley of Moncton, NB, Canada; 4 grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Elizabeth, Stephanie, Rochelle and Jenna; 2 great grandchildren, Jaylah and Ziyah; a former son in law, Kevin Merchant Sr. and many nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Gauvin was born in Moncton, NB, Canada, daughter of the late Benoit and Valerie Gallant. She is also predeceased by a brother Reginald Gallant and a sister Lucille Gallant.
Yvette worked for Dunkin Donuts for 16 years and also worked at the former Cape Cod Grille.
