WEBSTER – Joshua M. “Crow” Meagher, 28, died Friday, August 30, 2013 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after a long illness.
He leaves his parents, Charles F. “Fran” and Katherine G. “Kathy” (Konkel) Meagher; a brother, Andrew L. Palmerino; a sister, Christine L. Loper and her husband Michael, all of Webster; his maternal grandparents, William and Grace (Giovinazzi) Konkel of Charlton; 2 nephews, Dominic and Hunter Palmerino; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was born in Southbridge and lived in Webster all his life. He graduated from St. Louis Elementary School here and then from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton.
He first worked as a carpenter’s aide for Tri-State Contractors. He then was employed by Price Chopper. He was a platform worker for UPS in Shrewsbury until 2008, when he retired because of illness.
He was a member of Saint Louis Church. He enjoyed fishing and snowboarding, 4-wheelers, and baseball, football and basketball.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, September 4, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, in the funeral home.
