Murphy-Hallisey, Barbara J. of Pembroke, passed away on August 30, 2013 at the age of 61. Beloved wife of Paul Hallisey. Loving mother of Jason R. Murphy and his wife Kathleen of Apopka, FL and Kimberly Hallisey and her fiancé Michael Pearson of Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Emma Rose and Riley Paige Murphy. Dear sister of Laura S. Gassett and her fiancé Candice Shoemaker of Hull, Madelyn Scanlon and her husband Thomas of Wilmington and the late Jean Harding. Daughter of the late Charles Kiley and Jean (Keyes) Gassett. Barbara was a resident of Marshfield before moving to Pembroke. She was a graduate of Marshfield High School. Barbara has owned the Vacuum House in Marshfield since 1989.
Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
