Marx, Robert Allen 56, of Plymouth passed away at home on August 29, with family at his side. He leaves his beloved wife of 24 years Susan (Smith) Marx of Plymouth. His children Jaime and Taylor of Plymouth and Bobby of Dorchester. His mother Ruthie (Briere) Marx of Holbrook. 6 brothers Ricky of Attleboro, Ronnie of E. Bridgewater, Michael of Pembroke, Buddy of Hanover, Stephen and Wayne both of Marshfield, and 2 sisters Maryanne Szczney of Holbrook and Donna Colburn of E. Bridgewater. He also leaves 2 grandchildren Georgia and Joe Marx and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was born in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School. He worked for Stop and Shop as a Mechanic and welder he was a member of the Teamster’s Local 25. Robert served in the U.S. Army he was an avid Patriot’s Fan, he loved the ocean and spending time with his family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Sunday September 1, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday (Labor Day) at 11:00 AM in Corpus Christi Parish in Sandwich, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Burial will be private
