Sue Covelle, 79 of Malden MA, died Monday after a brief illness in the Massachusetts General Hospital Boston, MA.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Graziano and Anna (Scola) Randazzo.
Sue was a self employed Interior Decorator, for many years. Sue’s father was the former owner of the Independent Crabmeat Company in Boston and during WW II when her brothers were fighting in the war her and her sisters ran the Company with their father. She was a avid Bingo Player and also organized Bingo Trips and was known as Suzy.
Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Devoted mother of Robert A. Covelle Sr. of Stoneham, and Frederic A. Covelle of Winthrop. Loving grandmother of Jaclyn and J.R. Covelle of Stoneham, Samantha, Gregory and Alexandra Covelle of Winthrop. Sister of Rose Ciccarelli of Malden, Ann Mancino of Medford, and the late Francis, Salvatore, John Randazzo, Sara Cavagnaro, Catherine Montero, and Mary Centore.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
