Eileen K. (Rowsam) Babineau, age 58, of Norton passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Lowville, New York on April 27, 1955, she was a loving daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret Rowsam. She grew up in Lowville, New York and was a graduate of Lowville High School.
Eileen proudly served her country for 16 years as a member of the United States Navy. She was honorably discharged from the service on June 26, 1990 with the rank of Radioman First Class.
Eileen loved to keep in touch and spend time with her friends from high school. She enjoyed gardening and had made her home in Norton for the past 20 years.
She is survived by her devoted longtime significant companion Paul R. Martin of Norton and his daughters Carol Martin and Barbara Martin. She was pre-deceased by her brother Jan Rowsam.
Her funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial with military honors will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visitation will be held prior to the services Wednesday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
