Patricia Ann Liebhardt Roundy of 203 Elm Street, Noank, passed away Saturday at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Long Branch, NJ on June 26th, 1942. She worked as a teacher in New Jersey before getting married, and the greatest share of her life was spent as wife and mother. A long-time New Englander, Patti was an avid reader and truly loved the arts and gardening; it would be very hard to imagine her home without geraniums outside the front door. She held her greatest love for her 3 sons and took enormous pride in their accomplishments.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Paul & Gail, her son Jason, and her son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Nathaniel, Aubri, & James.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, Mystic. The Rev. Dr. G. Kenneth Carpenter, pastor, will officiate. There are no visiting hours.
The families' love, admiration and respect are extended to the congregation of Union Baptist Church and the staff and residents of Mystic River Homes. The community, love and fellowship of these organizations was greatly cherished by Patti in the later years of her life, and donations in her memory to either of these organizations would bless the continuance of their work.
