Worcester- Gertrude “Betty” E. (Jenkner) Levasseur, 75, died August 22nd peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She leaves her sons James Levasseur of Lunenburg, Raymond Levasseur of Worcester, and Noel Levasseur of Auburn, her daughter Jeanne Levasseur of Leicester, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, her best friend Ann Finne, her sister Pat Magnan of Charlton, her stepmother, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Raymond Levasseur, who passed away in 2007 and her son Michael Levasseur.
At Betty’s request, funeral services were held privately at Notre Dame Mausoleum with a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Angels Church Worcester, MA to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association MA Office 330 Congress St. 5th Floor Boston, MA 02110.
