Janet's family, friends, faith, and her Pentz, Nova Scotia family roots were important to her. She lived in Pentz for 2-3 years as a young girl. She always kept in touch with her many lifelong friends and returned to Nova Scotia to the LaHave River area each year to visit. In addition to trips to Canada, she loved traveling the world with her husband, Lou. However, their travels were never by themselves as a couple but always included friends, neighbors or family. To Janet, the trips were not only about the exotic places they experienced but sharing those exotic places with others. She loved socializing and her calendar was always filled with travel and events. Her life revolved around her immediate and extended family. Janet had cousins that were more like sisters and nephews and great nieces were treated as grandkids. She will always be remembered as a very special person who touched many with her warmth, caring, thoughtfulness, and love. She will be missed so much.
