
Patricia H. (Page) Morgan, died at home on August 21st after a long illness with her family at her side. She was 89.
Mrs. Morgan was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1924 and raised in South Boston. She was a graduate of the Gate of Heaven High School. During World War II, she was active in the United Services Organization (USO), entertaining and assisting returning disabled veterans. She was employed by the Boston Edison Company until her marriage to James A. Morgan Jr in 1945.
The Morgan family lived in Milton for 30 years and moved to Sagamore Beach in 1976. Mrs. Morgan was active in community affairs and public service, including work with disabled children in Milton schools. She was a past president of the Milton Women’s Club and a past associate curator of the China Trade Museum.
With her husband, Mrs. Morgan founded Kirkwood Corporation, a construction management and development firm based in Sagamore Beach. She enjoyed tennis, golf, travel and time with her family.
Mrs. Morgan was the mother of the late David A. Morgan and grandmother of the late Jennifer Page Morgan. In addition to her husband of 68 years, James A. Morgan Jr., Mrs Morgan is survived by her sister Phyllis C. Delfavero and her husband Clement of Sagamore Beach; two sons James B. Morgan and wife Sharon of Homosassa, FL; William P. Morgan and wife Lauren of Sagamore Beach and Ronald K. Morgan and wife Christine of Sagamore Beach. Mrs. Morgan is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and god-children. She held her family highly above all and will be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday August 26th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 27th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 10 AM followed by burial at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the VNA of Cape Cod, 434 Route 134, Suite D-3, South Dennis, MA 02660.
