Carmela Ciroli, 97 of Medford and Ft. Lauderdale, FL died Tuesday after a brief illness at home.
Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Libra) Covotta.
Carmela retired in 1962 as a Supervisor, employed by Capezio Shoe in Boston for 20 years. Mrs. Ciroli was the beloved wife of the late Louis Ciroli. Devoted mother of Louise P. Liberatoriand her late husband Anthony of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Anthony J. Ciroli of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Medford, Mario D. Ciroli and his wife Mary of Boca Raton, FL and Winchester, the late Gilda Apruzzesi, and Carmen A. Ciroli. Mother in law of Virginia Ciroli of Stoneham. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 15 loving great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Friends may visit Friday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
