Eleanor M. (Jean) Berard Levesque, 74, of Salem, NH died Monday at Holy Family Hospital.
Eleanor was born and educated in Lawrence MA and graduated from St. Anne’s High School. She was the daughter of the late Jeannette (Theberge) and Archille Jean. Eleanor retired from Smith & Nephew in Andover, MA.
Eleanor was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Ingram Senior Center in Salem. She was an avid 45’s player and enjoyed bingo, antiquing, reading cooking and taking care of her home. She loved her family and visiting her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Berard, Sr., her grandson, Justin Delaney and her siblings, Ronald and Russell Jean and Laurette Beaudin.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Levesque of Salem, NH,

Her daughters, Maureen Kolifrath and fiancé Mike Bartlett of Methuen, MA
Lisa and husband William Fernandez of Salem, NH
Tracey Berard of Salem, NH
Her step-son, William Siegel, Jr and wife Anne of Leominster, MA
Her sisters, Theresa Pellerin of Pelham, NH and
Marcelle and her husband Phillip Lantange of Salem, NH
5 grandchildren, Bobby, Becca, Steve, Erin and Jake
4 great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Aug. 22nd from 4-8PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 23rd at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Salem. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
