Kristina M. “Tina” (Mulroy) Cahill, age 38, of Falmouth, formerly of Mansfield, passed away in the presence of her loved ones on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Royal Nursing Center in Falmouth.
Born in Norwood, MA on August 4, 1975, she was a loving daughter of Mary B. (Goonan) Chilcot and her husband Frederick Chilcot of West Wareham and the late John J. Mulroy.
Tina spent her early childhood living in Norwood. She later moved to Mansfield where she was educated and a 1993 graduate of Mansfield High School. She had also attended Northeastern University as a part time student.
Tina had worked for many years as a unit coordinator at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro and at the Boston Medical Center in Boston.
A resident of Falmouth for over 10 years, she had previously resided in Mansfield. Tina enjoyed shopping and gatherings with friends, but her number priority in life was being a loving and caring mother to her son Michael.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving son Michael P. Brownell of Forestdale. She was the dear sister of Sean J. Mulroy and his wife Jennifer of Forestdale and the cherished granddaughter of Catherine P. Mulroy of Norwood. She was the adoring aunt of Cassie, Jake and Seanny Mulroy and is also survived by her former husband Michael Cahill, as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21st at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
