Barnstable - Armand Paul "Squeaky" Dion, 54, of Provincetown passed away June 30, 2013 at Cape Cod Hospital.
Mr. Dion was born in Middleboro, son of the late Raymond E. Dion and Grace (Butera) Dion Pittsley, and resided in Provincetown for the past 36 years. He was employed as a custodian by the Governor Bradford Restaurant in Provincetown. He enjoyed playing chess, backgammon, pool (he was in many pool tournaments), and was a champion arm wrestler. He loved being out on his boat fishing. He had a heart of gold, was always helping someone in need, would buy 4 pounds of fish keep 1 and give away 3. He loved taking care of his hanging plants on the porch of the Bradford every summer to make it so beautiful! He was a fast runner in school track, loved making his car models from the time he was a kid, liked watching WWF wrestling when it was at Lincoln Park in Dartmouth, MA, and loved his cats.
Survivors include his sister: Rochelle F. Dion-Mastera of Fairhaven; his brother-in-law: Colton Mastera of Fairhaven; a brother: Steven E. Dion of Massapequa, Long Island, NY; 2 nieces: Dawn Cohen of New Bedford and Amanda Dion of Long Island, NY; 2 nephews: Beau Dion and his wife Misty of Pennsylvania and Derek Dion of Long Island, NY; 6 great nieces & nephews; and his many good friends in Provincetown.
He was brother of the late Louis M. "Mike" Dion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at the Governor Bradford Restaurant, 312 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA, 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2013.
