Della (Moura) Cotta, 94 of Tiverton, RI died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was wife of the late Francis E. Cotta, Sr.
Born in Westport, she was daughter of the late Manuel P. and Mary J. (Chaves) Moura. She was a former Communicant of St. Madeline Sophie Church, Tiverton. Mrs. Cotta loved cooking.
Survivors include 3 sons: Franklin Cotta of Tiverton, Francis E. Cotta, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA and Alan Cotta of Fall River; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and 3 outstanding great nieces.
She was mother of the late Raymond Cotta, grandmother of the late Lori Vlassic and sister of the late Mary Deluz, Joseph Moura, Annie Rapoza, Tony Moura and Johnny Moura.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from the Potter Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. followed by a chapel service at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River at 11:30 A.M.
