REGAN - David L., age 76, of Brockton, formerly of Dorchester, September 4, suddenly after complications from an auto accident. Dear son of the late John J., Nora (Toomey), and step-son of Nora (O’Connell). Beloved husband of E. Marie (Healy). Loving father of David and his wife Jan of Iowa, Jeanne Sullivan and her husband Joe of Brockton, Michael of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Trisha of East Bridgewater. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Kerri Sullivan, Brian, Emily Dennis, Erin, and Katie Regan. Caring brother of the late Timothy, John, and Joseph. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Thursday, September 9 from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St., (Rte. 123), Brockton at 8:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 439 West St., Brockton at 9:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. BROCKTON - David L. Regan, age 76, of Brockton, formerly of Dorchester, died September 4, 2004, suddenly after complications from an auto accident. Husband of E. Marie (Healy). Mr. Regan was born in Dorchester to the late John J., Nora (Toomey), and cared for also by his stepmother Nora (O’Connell). David graduated from Boston English and attended Northeastern University. Mr. Regan founded and operated Regan Supply & Testing Service in 1989 with the knowledge and experience of over 50 years in the Water Works Industry. David was an avid runner, and loved sports and his grandchildren. He was a member of Mass Water Works Assoc., Plymouth County Water Works Assoc., American Water Works Assoc., Colonial Road Runners Club, and New England Over 65 Runners Club. Along with his wife he is survived by his children David and his wife Jan of Iowa, Jeanne Sullivan and her husband Joe of Brockton, Michael of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Trisha of East Bridgewater. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Timothy, John, and Joseph Regan.
