Raymond T. Salvatore, Jr, 65, of Goldmine Road, Glocester, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Fatima Hospital . He was the husband of Irene M. (Oberg) Salvatore.
Born in Providence,RI he was one of four children of the late Raymond T. and Evelyn (Ranallo) Salvatore. He had recently moved to West Glocester after having lived in Lantana, Florida for seven years.
He had been a chef at area restaurants, including Chili’s, before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Raymond T. Salvatore, III, of Glocester, a granddaughter, Talia, his stepsons: Adam Bianchini of Lake Worth, FL and Alan Bianchini of Glocester, five stepgrandchildren, and his siblings, Mary Louise Fonseca of Harmony, Michael L. Salvatore of Providence, two nephews and a niece. He was the brother of the late Thomas S. “Tippy” Salvatore.
Funeral service Monday at Noon in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation 10-12am. In lieu of flowers donations to Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter, PO Box 592, Attleboro, MA 02703
