Laurel Parsons, 46, of Kingston, died after a lengthy illness at the Jordan Hospital, on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
She was born February 5, 1967 in Quincy, MA. The daughter of Russell and Marilyn (Drinan) Parsons. She is survived by her father, Russell Parsons; a daughter, Emma Parsons; a brother, David Parsons; and a nephew, Cory Parsons.
Laurel graduated from Quincy College and was employed for many years as a medical office manager. Laurel was a caring and devoted mother who possessed many talents, notably her expertise in gardening. She used her artistic abilities to enrich the lives of everyone she knew. Laurel was a lover of all creatures great and small, and took up horseback riding during her early teenage years. She had a caring heart and would always take in animals in need. She will be missed dearly by all of her relatives and friends.
