Evans, GA- Mr. Steven C. Popwell, 61, husband of Italia Antonelli Popwell, entered into rest on Sunday, August 11, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Father Mike Ingram officiating.
Mr. Popwell retired from the United States Army and was a proud veteran.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter, Pamela Anna Miller and husband Joshua of Fairfax, VA; his son, Edward Forrest Popwell and fiancée Kathleen Brown of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Joseph Popwell and wife Kathy Marie of Carrollton, GA and two sisters Kathy and Tammy Popwell, both of Carrollton, GA. He is preceded in death by a brother, the late Craig William Popwell and his parent, Avis and Forrest Popwell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
