Worcester – Katherine H. (Landroche) O’Brien, 64, of Worcester, died peacefully on Saturday, August 10th in her home.
Katherine is survived by two daughters, Sherry Butler-Barroso and her husband David of Mattapoisett, MA and Tammy O’Brien and her fiancé Carl Erickson of Worcester; two brothers, Joseph Landroche of Holden and Brad Landroche of Worcester; a sister, Linda Prest of Webster; 3 grandsons, Steven Evora, Brandon Ouellette and Mackenzie Ouellette and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Elzear and Rose (Carpenter) Landroche and is also predeceased by a sister, Sharon Smith.
Katherine worked in the accounts payable department of Hanover Insurance Group and previously worked as a sales associate for NAMCO.
She enjoyed many things throughout her lifetime, however, some of her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren. In her younger days she volunteered as a lunch lady in the Worcester Public Schools and also as a softball coach.
The funeral and burial services will be held privately. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is handling arrangements.
