William McManigell

William A. McManigell, 85, of Anderson died at Community Hospital in Anderson after a brief illness.
He was born October 14, 1927 in Danville, IN to Frank F. and Ada Ruth (Boling) McManigell.
He served in the US Army and was a member of American Legion Post 127.
He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.
He worked in the Shipping Department of Inland Fisher Guide 34.6 years before retiring in 1987.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Jean Smith of Crestwood, MO; Shirley Rhinehart of Anderson and a long time friend Harry Barton of Anderson; sixteen nieces and nephews Ted Leahey; Kathleen Leahey; Robert (Tamara) McKinley; Cassandra Riggs; Mark Hoover; Bruce (Marilyn) Hoover; Scott McManigell; Suzanne Stephens (Jeff Knobloch); Ruth Ann (Gary) Benefiel; Dan Smith; Tim (Barbara) Smith; Shawn McManigell; Rick (Linda) Rhinehart; Kelly Smith; Robin Roberts and JoAnn (Chris) Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, ten siblings, Marjorie Leahey; Virginia McKinley; Francis McManigell; Jane Hoover; Frank McManigell; Mary June Kellogg; Donald McManigell; Kenneth McManigell; Sandra McManigell; Barbara Jo Roberts; and nephew Jeffery Kellogg.
Memorial service will be 3 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2013 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with family and friends sharing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service
Inurnment of cremated remains will be at East Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society or Salvation Army.
