PARCELLIN, Claire- Of Melrose, formerly of Malden, unexpectedly, August 6th. Devoted daughter of the late James and Anna (Murphy) Parcellin. Beloved sister of the late Joan K. Busi, Dorothea Carney, Anne Bruhmuller, Eleanor Pittorino, Mildred, James, Francis, John, Phyllis Anne and William Parcellin. Cherished aunt of William, Karen, Donna, Diane, Cheryl, Roger, Paul, Peter, Christopher, John, William, Gary, William, Thomas, Christine and the late Dorothea and James. Also lovingly survived by many great nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Malden and a resident until moving to Melrose 17 years ago, Claire passed away unexpectedly at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston early Tuesday afternoon as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident earlier that day. A graduate of Malden High School, for over 40 years she worked as a supervisor at TRW in Cambridge and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Malden VFW.
