Bennett, Sylvia Mae (Key), 83, of Louisville passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013.
Sylvia was a native of Anneta, KY. & had retired in 2012 after 28 years of service for the Kentucky Court of Justice Office of Circuit Court Clerk. She was the past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Valley Chapter # 65 & was a Kentucky Colonel.
She will be missed by many people whose lives she touched through the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert & Leonia (Durbin) Key; husband, David Anthony Bennett; brother, Johnnie Key.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Thomas (Bruce); grandchildren, Diane Lally ( Dr. Matthew) & Emily Thomas; fiancé, Carl Hume.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday & 4:00 – 8:00 pm Friday.
