PLYMOUTH: Jeannette V. (Tuney) Lowthers, 91, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in the Plymouth Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late James E. Lowthers.
Born in Stoneham on July 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Helen C. (Bisbee) Tuney. Jeannette was a resident of Stoneham most of her life until she moved to Plymouth several years ago. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School. In her spare time she liked to garden.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Goodwin and her husband, Bruce of Plymouth; grandson, Gregory Goodwin and his wife, Rebecca of San Francisco, CA. She was also predeceased by her brother, Andrew J. Tuney and a sister, Barbara M. Roberts.
A graveside service for Jeannette was privately held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
