Obituary

Louise Carpentier, 91, of Jeanne Jugan Residence in Pawtucket, formerly of Kennedy Manor, Woonsocket, died Saturday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Carpentier. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Marie Anne (Nadeau) Beaudet. Louise was an assembler for Hasbro Corp. and General Instruments for many years. She retired in 1989 from Rathbun Outlet where she worked as a clerk for thirteen years. Louise was a former member of the Kennedy Manor Club.

She is survived by a son Robert Wilfred Carpentier and his wife Eileen of WA, two daughters, Eva Ann Graveline and her husband Lawrence of Pawtucket and Paulette Verrier and her husband Rejean of Smithfield, NC, a brother Arthur Beaudet of Woonsocket, five grandchildren, Candie Thibault, Timothy and Christopher Verrier, Sabrina Carpentier and Jason Graveline, and ten great-grandchildren. She was also the grandmother of the late Paul Carpentier and sister of the late Adjutor, Herve, Omer “Ben”, Edmond and Emile Beaudet, Jeanne Tarvis, Bertha Atteridge, Cecile Carpentier and Florence Beard.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in All Saints Church, 323Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Jeanne Jugan Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
