Patricia C. (Bourget) Brunelle, 64 of Providence St. passed away peacefully on August 2, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Normand and Margaret (Dussault) Bourget. She was the former wife of Peter Brunelle of Cumberland. Patricia was a professional vocalist for nearly thirty years, notably performing with her husband Peter in “The Two of Us”. After graduating from Rhode Island College in 2008, she realized her lifelong dream to teach and worked for the Woonsocket Education Department as a special education teacher for four years. She also worked for the Seven Hills Foundation and was active with the Rhode Island Special Olympics. Pat was an avid painter and loved her two dogs.
She is survived by her two children, Christopher Brunelle of Woonsocket, and Meaghan Brunelle of Whitinsville, MA, and many devoted cousins, friends and relatives.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St., Woonsocket.
