Brown, Jean 92, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013.
She was the former Jean Hays.
She was the minister’s wife of the former Rev. Samuel M. Brown. Mrs. Brown was born in Birmingham, AL. She was a graduate of Carver School of Missions. She was a member of Highview Baptist Church and also attended Southeast Christian Church, Oldham County Campus. She was a member of the Forever Young Group at Buechel Park Baptist Church. She was a resident of Parr’s at Springhurst.
Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel M. Brown; brothers, Olen and William Hays.
She is survived by her Children, Samuel L. Brown (Renee), Judy Hathcock (Larry) and Jeannie Gardner (Nicholas); Grandchildren, Annis Hathcock, Scott Hathcock (Kiersten), and Meredith Brown (Chris); Great Grandchildren, Noah Hathcock, Grace Hathcock, Diane Brown and Christopher Brown
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 11AM- 1PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 1PM at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be private.
