Carolyn A. (Riggins) Maupin, 75 of Anderson, died Aug. 2, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield after an extended illness.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1937 in Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Stark) Riggins. She was a homemaker and member of Amvets post 692.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Keith Maupin, 6 children: Pam (Lee) Burns of North Carolina, Duane(Susie) Yates of Florida, Ronny Yates, Kenny (Tonya) Maupin, Kim (Ron) Ackles all of Anderson, Kevin (Kae) Maupin of Florida, 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 7 brothers, Pat, Lavern, Marlow, Spike, Clifford, Ronny, and Duane, and a daughter, Michele Poulson
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at 2:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, with Pastor Steve Gettinger officiating. Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2 prior to the service on Tuesday.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff of Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield for the loving care provided to Carolyn during her stay.
