NEEDHAM – Charles R. Marchese, husband of the late Dorothy T. (Burns) Marchese, died at his Needham home on July 30, 2013.
He was 82.
Born in South Boston, he was the son of the late Gerado and Antonetta (Congio) Marchese.
Mr. Marchese was educated in Dorchester and was later employed by the Boston Housing Authority for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Charles R. Marchese, Jr. of Colorado; four daughters, Mary Marchese and her husband Larry Feise of Albuquerque, NM, Donna McKay of Raynham, Charlene Morin and her husband Ernest of Cumberland, RI, and Lisa Marchese-Shugert and her husband Robert of Needham; a sister, Anna Galena of FL; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services were held at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
Arrangements are being handeled by the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary’s Square in Taunton.
